MLRITM was established in the year 2009 by Marri Educational Society, Hyderabad. It is a UGC Autonomous college, approved by AICTE, and is permanently affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. We offer undergraduate B.Tech programmes in CSE, CSE (AI&ML), IT, CSE(Data Science), CSE(Cyber Security) CSIT, ECE, EEE, ME and CE; postgraduate MBA, and M.Tech programmes with specialisation in M.TECH(CSE), M.TECH(Embedded Systems), M.TECH(Structural Engineering and ME(CAD/CAM).

The college is accredited by NAAC at A grade, Four of its UG engineering programmes – B. Tech ECE, CSE, ME, and CE, are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi under the Tier-2 category.
